Kathy Morelli, LMT, LPC, practices integrative psychotherapy in New Jersey. Her practice focuses on trauma and perinatal mood disorders. She utilizes current trauma therapy models, primarily Somatic Experiencing®, with a foundation of Interpersonal Psychotherapy. Kathy has a long interest in mindbody therapies. She is trained in guided imagery, expressive art, Reiki, shiatsu, acupressure, craniosacral and aromatherapy. Kathy has worked in several positions with the Atlantic Health hospital system, including MindBody Specialist at the Cancer Center of Mountainside Hospital and Behavioral Medicine Specialist at Overlook Medical Center.
She writes and speaks on Stress and Pregnancy, birth comfort measures and perinatal mental health and has appeared at various universities and conferences across the country. She has blogged about perinatal mental health for Lamaze's Science & Sensibility and the Huffington Post. Kathy is a past volunteer at Postpartum Support International (PSI).
